My experience is built through decades in the electric power industry and is centered around rates, financial planning, financial and operating scorecards, benchmarking, accounting, financial reporting, financial strategy development, federal and state regulatory affairs, and executive management.

I have served investor-owned utilities, public power companies, municipal utilities, and cooperatives throughout the U.S. Allow me to add value to you and your organization by providing a seasoned perspective in helping you address your financial and rates issues. History

John recently retired after 13 years as CFO of a wholesale public power joint action agency. Prior to that, he provided consulting services to numerous clients. John’s career began in the electric power industry at an investor-owned utility, where he was employed for over two decades. A qualifications summary or resume is available upon request.

Education

John holds a degree in Accounting from the University of Minnesota (Minneapolis) and has completed numerous industry education programs as a participant and presenter (program list available by request.) John recently completed a four-year graduate level Equipped for Ministry certificate program through Sewanee Seminary, University of the South.
